January

A lot of happy things happened this week. And the week haven't ended yet. Lets hope the good luck continues until the end of the week, Insyaallah.

1. I got my first official car on Monday. Alhamdulillah.

New car: RM **,000
Insurance: RM *,000
That smile : Priceless.

2. Today is our 7 years anniversary. Yup, bukan typo tu. Betul la 7. Seven. Tujuh.
Moga dipanjangkan jodoh. InsyaAllah. Aminnnnnnn.

3. I'll be driving to LCCT Sepang to pick Hafidz up on Saturday! 2 days from now! :))))

4. Weekend ni pergi bercuti kat Bagan Lalang, family day office Mama. Weekend off! Yeayyy!

5. Esok oncall! Yeayy.

Ok. Number 5 is insignificant. Tolonglah doakan tomorrow will be a good call for us, fellow Obstetric oncall-ers. Insyaallah.

I woke up this morning, feeling horrible. Not because I was having one of those awful bad hair days (thank GOD i'm wearing hijab) or my boyfriend slept in the middle of IM-ing me last night (okay, the latter was true but I did that to him almost every day, so I have no right to be mad. Heh). Ayah went back to Jeddah yesterday. He will not make it for my graduation but I'm okay with that because we went for my graduation photo-shoot last week, so metaphorically, I've graduated. Heehee. I hope he will be back for raya Qurban though, or else the four of us will be celebrating raya alone as Mama will be doing her Hajj this year. Hmmm. Things will be quite difficult without him, but we'll be fine, Insyaallah.

Arghh. I hate saying goodbyes, especially in the airport. Believe me, I should be an expert in saying goodbyes by now. Tapi tak tahulah kenapa tak expert2 sampai sekarang. :(

So, in order to put my mind at ease, I baked.

Tak main la bake senang-senang. Bake recipe susah-susah la, baru thrill. :P Actually, tak susah pun. Nama resipi yang macam nak kena pergi France beli ingredients, tapi senang je. ;)

Vanilla & Chocolate Coconut Macaroons. Heeeee.

I'll probably post the recipe later, depending on your request. If you want the recipe please don't hesitate to leave a comment. But this macaroons are strictly for coconut lovers. For those who are hypersensitive or doesn't like the coconuty-taste and texture, you should try other macaroons recipe, prolly the almond based macaroons.

Journey Part I

Journey to the Holy Land - Makkah & Madinah

I've been to many places.
Seen so many faces.
But in this journey, everything was different.


At first, I was anxious, afraid and overwhelmed with disbelief.
Will I ever be accepted to enter HIS house?
Or even step to HIS holy land?
Am I worthy to be HIS guest?


But Allah is Merciful.
The door is always open for to seek HIS forgiveness.

"O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah . Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful."

My sister once said, once you've been here, everything else is miscellaneous.

It was truly a blessing and I wouldn't change it for the world.

This abandoning-blog-thingy is getting teruk-er each day. Sorry for all my readers out there (macam ada je), but recently, I have a tendency to open-close-open my 'new post' section, most of the time I will leave it blank and end up closing it again. From now on, I won't be posting as 'frequently' as before. I'm telling this because I don't wanna put high hopes to my readers (cewah, belagak lagi ada org baca blog ni).

Anyway, what's up with people posting pictures of their trip to Broga Hill? Everytime I came across those pictures in my facebook news feed, I'll end up seeing the same set of pictures again and again. Macam duplicate pulak. Ok, random ranting of the day. I'm saying this because I'm soo jealous of those people who get a chance to witness Broga's breathtaking sceneries. Nak pergi :(

Yay! Tomorrow Mama will be coming back home from Jeddah. :)) From now on, Ayah's second home is in Jeddah. Ayah has started working there since last month and Mama accompanied him for the first month. I'm happy for Ayah, but..

I'll definitely miss his Maggi goreng, Mee Hailam and Sup Ekor.

He is a hard worker. Eventho he was a pensioner before he got this job, that never stop him from doing other works. He loves gardening, and he is a good carpenter. Come visit our home, I'll show you all of the cupboards, cabinets and tables that he has worked on. We even have our own hand-made waterfall in our front yard. I will definitely miss the cluttering noises when he's busy building a new furniture for the house.

I'll definitely miss having late night snacks with him. Usually, he sleeps quite late as he loves to watch the TV late at night. If I'm still up, and he happen to make a sandwich for his supper, he will make another one for me without me asking for it.

I'll definitely miss his jokes.

I'll definitely miss HIM.

He is not the type of father who is open in term of showing his love towards his children. He has his own way of showing it, and I love him for that. Ayah, do take care, and come back home as frequently as you can ok. Ikan-ikan ayah dah rindu kat ayah ni. hehe.

I have to stop here, in dire need to press the forward button now. Can't wait to see Mama tomorrow!
